The Aevum Type-02 Turbo Fan channels the raw soul of Group B rallying. The aerodisk wheel, the heat-scorched metal, the feeling of something pushed right to the edge of what's possible.
The grade 5 titanium case is hand-cut on a lathe and hand-brushed, while the grade 2 titanium chapter ring is hand torched to produce its signature iridescent heat bloom. A colour no machine can replicate and no two rings will ever share.
The white brass dial is made entirely in-house. Hand brushed, hand painted with a bold racing stripe cutting across the face, and hand lumed with Nemoto BGW9. A dial that feels like it has always existed somewhere in motorsport history.
Paired with a Kurozan urushi tipped Japanese leather strap and an NH35 automatic movement, the Type-02 doesn't just tell time; it tells you something about the hands that made it.
NOTE: We will absolutely be bringing out more Type-01 handmade Super-lite titanium timepieces, but as we are making them on a lathe, they will appear on the site as they are completed vs as a large stock. Type-01 models are made in a similar configuration, but each is uniquely different - each Type-01 is made with technical drawings ONLY for the internal housing and sealing of the movement - all exterior contouring is done in the moment.

Dimensions: 41.5mm wide x 47mm lug to lug, 20mm lug width, 13.8mm thick on the wrist (including sapphire crystal in measurement).
Case: Handmade lathe turned Ti-6Al-4V Grade 5 titanium.
Movement: NH-35 automatic 3 hand movement with a 41 hour power reserve.
Water resistance: estimated low at 10ATM until we purchase a pressure tester that can exceed 10ATM, however these utilize a 20ATM capable 0.8mm rear compression gasketed with triple screw down crowns so we suspect they'll perform at a much higher ATM rating, we just can't confirm the numbers yet.
Crystal: thick double domed and high chamfered sapphire crystal with blue tinge anti-reflection coating.
Dial: In-house hand made and hand brushed turbo fan design with dark chrome hands. Completely lumed by hand with Nemoto BGW9 (blue glow).
Crown: 7mm Aevum double-wrench artwork and high grip knurled crown. Screw down triple gasket design.
Case back: Handmade lathe turned screw down case back with hand torched blue finish that locks down a 0.8mm compression gasket for water resistance.
Leather strap: The Type-02 Turbo Fan Titanium Automatic comes with one 100% handmade by us in-house Japanese urushi tipped leather strap with quick release spring bars. It is tapered from 20mm to 18mm at the laser engraved Aevum buckle.
Carry case: All Type-02 Turbo Fan Super-lite Titanium Automatics come with a ABS plastic travel box with an in-house laser engraved top plate.
